Joe/Ahim genre prompts

1. [Angst/Dark]
It was just like the Zangyack to decide that rounding up all deserters and defectors was the best course of action when making their Barizorg-like army; much easier than dealing with those pesky earthlings, and already trained to arms in most instances.
Every morning, it took Ahim a moment to remember she was alone in her bed, and that although Joe still technically existed, there was no part of him left to recover now.

2. [HS!AU]
"Thank you for escorting me to prom," Ahim says quietly, tightening her hold on Joe's arm. She can feel his body heat. She can feel the way his free hand hovers sometimes, not quite daring to touch her.
"I can't believe nobody else asked you," Joe replies. He looks so annoyed at the idiocy of the rest of his gender when he says it, Ahim can't help but smile. Joe himself would never have asked, surely he can't find it too difficult to imagine others having the same problem.
If he thought anybody had asked her he would be annoyed too; he doesn't think anyone at school is good enough for Ahim, least of all himself.
Ahim's decisions are her own, however.
"Mmmm," she says in the end with a carefree smile, not quite agreeing. She turned down a lot of offers in order to beg this 'favour' of Joe, after all.

3. [Crack/Humour]
"I'll... I'll have to put you in my pocket so you don't fall," Joe says, staring at the teeny tiny Ahim stood on his hand.
If the Zangyack and increase the size of their action commanders, why not try to decrease the size of the Gokaigers too? Except they only actually managed to hit Ahim this time.
And now Joe doesn't know what to do, other than keep fighting and trust Ahim to hold on tight.
Afterwards, she still doesn't change back. That's when they all realise this has come directly from the Zangyack flagship. Don theorizes that they may have to get onto the ship and find the technology that did this in order to reverse it.
Joe apologizes to her softly, even though it isn't his fault. When Ahim finally falls asleep, she does so curled up in the palm of his hand.

4. Fluff
There are times when she offers to brush his hair for him, and he lets her because eventually Ahim lets him lean back against her and simply breathe her in. And she stops even pretending she is still brushing his hair, and threads her fingers through it instead, and even plaits strands of both his and hers together, entwining them forever.
